Absolutely beautiful lamp (I bought the benny one and made a sizeable donation because I had to support that little guy and Tims beautiful cause. You can tell so much care goes into these pieces the colours glow softly at night and it feels like having a little friend on the table. Knowing that the money goes straight toward keeping Tim’s shelter running made the purchase mean even more. I’m proud to support it.

The lamp is even prettier in person the colours look like real stained glass when it lights up. I bought it because I loved the design, but knowing it helps Tim keep his shelter running made it feel like the right thing to do. It’s rare to find something this charming that also supports a cause that genuinely needs it

Didn’t expect to be this impressed. The lamp’s solid, bright, and actually looks hand-crafted. I bought it to help Tim’s shelter out, but honestly it stands on its own as a quality piece. Feels good knowing the money’s going toward keeping those dogs fed and cared for.

Really happy with the lamp, it looks great in person and feels solidly made. What convinced me to buy, though, was knowing the money goes toward helping the dogs at the shelter. It’s nice buying something and actually feeling like it supported a real cause. No regrets at all

I’ve been cutting and soldering little pieces of coloured glass for close to fifty years now. It’s something I’ve always loved. When I first started this project, I hoped to make every one of these animal lamps by hand the slow way my old teacher showed me cutting the shards, foiling them, soldering them together, and watching the light settle into each shape with its own little spirit.

These days, though, my hands aren’t quite what they used to be, and each lamp would take me nearly a week to finish. With my wife and I struggling to keep our little dog shelter running, I simply couldn’t make them fast enough on my own no matter how hard I tried.

So to keep the shelter alive and make sure no order waits too long, we’ve partnered with a small fulfilment team overseas who help us create and send out the lamps on our behalf. It lets us keep things going here at home, and it means every bit of profit can still go straight into feeding and caring for the dogs who haven’t had much luck elsewhere.

Please don’t feel any pressure, but if you do choose to bring one of these little glass creatures home, just know it helps us keep the doors open a little longer. It means more than I can put into words.

Material:

Coloured glass with copper foil and soldered framing

Size:

19 × 16 × 18 cm

I still check every order myself before it goes out, hoping it reaches you warm and glowing, ready for a good home.

I do my best to get every order on its way as quickly as these old hands allow. With the help of a fulfilment partner, most lamps reach folks in about 6 to 8 days.

Each one is packed with care so it arrives safely at your door, just the way it left my workbench.

Thank you kindly for your patience — it means more to me, and to our shelter dogs, than I can say.

Hey guys

Hello there, friends. It’s Tim here. I want to be honest with you all. When I first started this little project, I truly hoped to make every lamp myself. I’m an old fellow now, and each one takes me almost a full week to finish properly.

But with the shelter running out of money and the orders coming in faster than these tired hands can manage, I simply haven’t been able to keep up. I’m grateful beyond words for the support, but I can’t make them fast enough on my own.

So, to make sure no order is delayed and that the dogs still get the help they need, we’ve partnered with a small fulfilment team overseas they help us create and send out some of the lamps on our behalf. I stil design every lamp myself but send the designs to them to be made.

This keeps everything affordable and running smoothly, and it means every bit of profit still goes straight into keeping our little dog shelter alive and caring for the animals who have nowhere else to go.

Thank you for understanding, and thank you for helping us keep the doors open. At my age, I can’t do this alone but together, we might just save this place.

Questions people sometimes ask me.

Hello there, Tim here.

Every lamp you buy, and every donation you make, goes 100% straight into keeping the shelter alive.

I don’t take a wage, never have.

The money pays for food, vet bills, medicines, heating, and keeping the doors open another week.

Without the sales from these lamps, we simply wouldn’t make it and right now we arn't looking good. At this rate we have a couple weeks before we will have to close down.

Hi guys, some days your purchase is the only reason we can afford medicine for a sick dog.

Other days it pays for the electricity so the pups don’t sleep in the cold.

Our bills stack up faster than we can keep up with the vets, the food, the repairs.

Your lamp isn’t just a lamp… it keeps this shelter from shutting its doors.

It keeps these dogs alive, warm, fed, and safe.

At my age my hands shake a little, but I still look over every lamp myself.

They’re made in small batches no big factory, no fancy operation just me and my workbench.

I make sure each one is something I’d be proud to send.

Every lamp helps us inch a little further from closing down.

Oh yes, and believe me… every dollar matters right now.

We’re doing everything we can, but the shelter is on its last legs financially.

Your donations go straight to vet care, food, medicine, and keeping the doors open another day.

I’ve lived a long time, and I’ll tell you honestly kindness like yours is the only reason these dogs still have a place to sleep.
